What makes this plate remarkable is that we have achieved something that is a first of it's kind: with process engineering that achieves near theoretical limits of the mechanical properties of UHMWPE materials, the VENTURE FM3 shooter's cut only weighs 2.2 pounds! That's less than 1 kg.!

It has a polyurea liner which provides the maximum protection from UV rays, salt water, and gasoline/JP fuels. The VENTURE FM3 is positively buoyant (it floats).
