The MASS III-A Soft Armor Plate Backers are made and tested to NIJ III-A standards which can be worn as a plate backer / trauma pad or behind an “in-conjunction with” (ICW) plate to bring it up to spec.

Fits perfect in the 5x13 fits perfect in the large Lasercut Cummerbund. Good quality, I don't know much about soft armor layers so not an expert, comes stiff, I've massaged it out to be more giving. I like that it came tan, was not expecting that (in a good way).
Item is first-class in construction. After some issues in shipment time, Midwest Armor came through. I certainly have no complaints about their customer service.
