I’ve owned the Srv split rig for going in 6 months. Jumped on the hype of split rigs. Wanted something I could wear with a pack. Saw this one and decided to give it a chance and I’m very happy I did. Srv rig off the rip has 6 mag cells built into it. These mag cells are adjustable and will accommodate 5.56, 5.45 and 7.62x39 magazines. Magazines of the ak variety are a little finicky to get in and out but fit none the less totally practical. These cells also are adjustable from the bottom to accommodate taller magazines and the magazine inserts are removable so if you wanted to run 7.62x51 mags or dedicated ak mags, the swap is easy. The inside of the rig also has Velcro running the whole length of it. So if you were wanting additional interior storage or room to mount danglers, don’t worry they got you covered. I also ordered 2 bkqt mag pouches. These are great and universal. They easily fit 2 ar15 mags. 5.45 and 7.62x39 Will also fit. The flap will also close if you adjust the Velcro ride height. The double zipper GP pouches are incredible. Tons of interior storage and organization. Just for Example, these pouches can fit d60s and 75 round drums. Also have double mag inserts in them so you can carry more ammo without sacrificing any Molle rows. The shoulder harness is simple and comfortable. I’ve worn this with my 55L pack and you barely notice it. Overall this is a fantastic rig. Simple and reliable with tons of adaptability.
