This is the receiving half of a First Spear Tubes quick-release: the Female 4″ rail that the male Tubes slides down into and locks. Pull the release and the cummerbund drops away in one motion for fast donning and doffing.
The split bar is what makes it easy to work with. The bar opens, so the buckle slides straight onto webbing or any Tubes attachment point on a plate carrier, chest rig or dangler with no sewing at all. That makes it the piece you want for a repair, a replacement or converting a cummerbund to Tubes without rebuilding it.
It pairs with any 4″ Male Tubes. If you are adding Tubes to one of our cummerbunds or building your own, our First Spear Tubes® 4″ Adapter Male is the other side.
