THE OPPORTUNITY

Looking for a detail oriented warehouse associate who is reliable and forward thinking with the willingness to learn and improve on the job.

THE RESPONSIBILITY

You will be responsible for assisting our team on the warehouse floor with everything from customer service to packaging as well as assisting with product quality control.

  • Ability to work well independently and in a team
  • Ability to quality control and review with attention to detail
  • Packaging and shipping customer orders
  • Moving inventory
  • Stock level checks and stocking new inventory
  • Gathering materials for sewers
  • Prepping production materials
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6 months of warehouse experience preferred (We are willing to train the right individual.)
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S. (we participate in eVerify)
  • Stable work history with good references from past employers.
  • Required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
  • Forklift certification/experience (preferred)

A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards while having a willingness to learn and improve on the job.

THE RESPONSIBILITY

You will be responsible for manufacturing our carrier, as well as other product, designs from our product line end-to-end and also assisting other operators to complete larger tasks as a unit.

  • Ability to work well independently and in a team
  • Use different sewing machines as needed depending on the product and fabric
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a machine operator
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Must pass a sewing test
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledgeable on patterns

At Midwest Armor we have created our own operating system that manages our entire production, inventory and connects directly with our e-commerce website, which is currently WooCommerce (in process of migration to headless).  

We are looking for a full-stack engineer to join our team and help continue to build out our in-house operating system which will expand to manage end-to-end production from order to product leaving our facility.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Enjoy being a generalist working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems and delight users both internally and externally
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Take pride in working on projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems
  • Can stitch together many different services and processes together even if you have not worked with them before


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of professional hands-on software development experience
  • Experience building web applications using HTML, CSS, and at least one JavaScript framework like React.js, Next.Js or similar
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
