One pull and your med kit is off your carrier and in your hands. The GP 5x5x2 Clamshell EMT Pouch V2 is a small compact IFAK med pouch on a rip away base, so you can work out of it in front of you, hand it to a teammate or set it down right where you need it.
Unzip it and the clamshell lays fully open with everything inside visible at once. It fits a bandage, compressed gauze, two chest seals, an airway tube, a decompression needle and gloves. Two internal pockets and three elastic loops give each piece its own place, so the contents stay put when the pouch opens instead of spilling out. The zipper pulls are wrapped in shrink tubing to keep them quiet and easy to grab.
The pouch rides on a Squadron base with 2 columns by 4 rows of MOLLE that mounts to any MOLLE or laser cut platform, whether that’s your plate carrier, cummerbund or chest rig. It can also run on a belt through the pass-through. The pouch velcros onto the base and locks down with a 3/4″ buckle so it stays on until you want it off. Pop the buckle, pull and the whole rip away medical pouch comes free in one motion. Press it back onto the base when you are done.
A tourniquet is the one piece that does not fit inside a pouch this size. Mount a Laser TQ Pouch next to it and your TQ stays on the outside where either hand can reach it.
Every pouch ships with a red medical cross patch so anyone on your team can spot your kit. Medical supplies are not included.
