Ordered this set in early August and received them late December... don't expect them anytime soon, even if you email support and they say they'll be sent shortly. I am happy with them though now that I have them. :)
Designed as an alternative to our Venture STX model that offers great special threat testing protection while still being well priced.

The Hesco L211 is a stand-alone special threat rifle plate built for people who want real rifle protection without the weight of a Level IV plate. At 4.9 lb in the 10 x 12 shooter cut and just 0.69 inches thick, it is one of the lightest and slimmest stand-alone plates HESCO makes, so it sits low under a carrier and stays comfortable through a long day of wear.
Special threat means the L211 is tested against a defined list of common rifle rounds rather than carrying an NIJ level rating. It is multi-shot rated and stops the threats most people actually face, including 5.56 M193 and M855, 7.62×39, and 7.62×51 M80. If your concern is common rifle fire and you value low weight, it is one of the best values on the board.
Each plate uses a ceramic strike face wrapped in a durable 1000D Cordura finish and ships as a set of two for front and back coverage.
If you need certified protection instead of special threat coverage, step up to the NIJ Level III+ Hesco 3411MC or the Level IV Hesco 4403MC. For an even lighter special threat option, look at the Hesco Z210 or Hesco U210.
Best for: everyday wear, first-time buyers, and anyone who prioritizes light weight and a low profile over a certified Level IV rating.
