The Leap Plate Carrier Base is a lightweight adaptable platform designed to serve as the foundation of your loadout. It offers a versatile balance of mobility, comfort and customization allowing you to tailor your setup from a slick to a fully equipped system.
Made from USA Materials Leap is built to handle demanding use while remaining lightweight and comfortable during extended wear. Its modular design supports a wide range of accessories, placards and cummerbund options giving you the flexibility to expand and adjust your setup as your needs evolve. This plate carrier setup comes with a plate carrier which includes Front Plate Bag, Rear Plate Bag as well as our Retention Elastic Velcro Cummerbund.
Shoulder pads, mags placard and TQ are not included.
The Leap MOLLE Carrier Front Plate Bag features 2 rows of four column MOLLE Velcro which allow you to easily attach MOLLE pouches, placards, identifiers or your favorite patch. The built in elastic routing channels allow you to manage communication cables securely keeping them organized and out of the way.
The Leap MOLLE Carrier Back Plate Bag comes in two options a MOLLE back which features 6 rows of MOLLE/PALS or a completely slick Back Panel. Additionally the bottom flap features a hidden map pocket with an easy to use pull tab. Each Plate Bag features 3D Sculpted back which adds comfort for your body side while also allowing airflow during longer wears.
Select the plate size that matches the armor plates you plan to use to ensure the correct size is chosen.

Our plate bags were built to support a wide variety of plate thicknesses, sizes and weights.

Cummerbund Sizing
The included cummerbund is our Elastic Velcro Cummerbund with retention tabs which allows for easy adjustability with two velcro attachments at each end as well as built in cell pockets. The built in cells come in a 3 cell configuration. Two of the cell pockets can fit your standard 5.56 Mags 1 back cell fits up to .308 while the smaller cell can hold your small items. All the cells feature a pull tab that can be used to secure items or used to loop bungee for compatible accessories.
While this kit comes with Elastic Retention Velcro Cummerbund it will take any of the available cummerbunds including those with First Spear TUBES™.
