The LEAP Plate Carrier Base is a lightweight modular plate carrier built to be the foundation of your loadout. Run it slick for patrol and vehicle work, add a placard for range days and training or build it out to a full kit for duty use. One carrier scales to the mission instead of making you buy a different rig for each role.
The carrier comes with a Front Plate Bag, Rear Plate Bag and our Retention Elastic Velcro Cummerbund so it arrives ready to wear.
The front plate bag features two rows of four-column MOLLE/loop at the top for small pouches, EUDs or patches. For placards the front has two QASM buckles that take any 1″ placard buckles plus a field of loop so the placard lays flat and does not flap around. The loop field also accepts anything with hook backing including Tubes conversions. Built-in elastic routing channels along the sides manage comm cables and keep them out of the way.
The back plate bag features a MOLLE back with six rows of PALS. The MOLLE back flap covers a field of loop so you can attach a cummerbund through it along with other hook backed accessories with no adapter needed. The bottom flap hides a map pocket with an easy pull tab. Both plate bags use 3D sculpted mesh for bodyside comfort and airflow on longer wears.
Your shirt size does not determine your plate carrier size. Your armor plates do. Match the carrier to the plate so your setup fits right and performs the way it should. Plates not included.

Cummerbund Sizing
The included cummerbund is our Elastic Velcro Cummerbund with retention tabs which allows for easy adjustability with two velcro attachments at each end as well as built in cell pockets. The built in cells come in a 3 cell configuration. Two of the cell pockets can fit your standard 5.56 Mags 1 back cell fits up to .308 while the smaller cell can hold your small items. All the cells feature a pull tab that can be used to secure items or used to loop bungee for compatible accessories.
While this kit comes with Elastic Retention Velcro Cummerbund it will take any of the available cummerbunds including those with First Spear TUBES™.

Very versatile. Added some shoulder pads. Fits my 1155MC from RMA no problem.
This carrier is really well made and designed. It allows you to add or remove pieces as needed which is nice. One of the best carriers I have seen, especially for the price.
