Description

The Chaos BALCS Laser Cut Carrier is built around the BALCS soft armor platform. It accepts BALCS cut soft armor(sold separately) and cummerbund pockets are sized to the carrier. Carrier includes an adjustable cummerbund with built-in soft armor pockets(soft armor sold separately) allowing expanded protection without increasing footprint. The cummerbund can also be configured to accept side plates(sold separately) giving additional options based on loadout requirements.

The Chaos Carrier supports both soft and hard armor configurations giving flexibility depending on mission or application. A breathable 3D mesh liner combined with sculpted foam improves comfort during extended wear while helping manage heat.

Laser cut slots on the front and rear allow modular attachment of pouches and accessories without adding unnecessary bulk. The platform provides full coverage while maintaining mobility.

If additional front capability is needed a Front Placard Conversion Panel can be added to support QASM or hook backed placards and expand your loadout.

BALCS stands for Body Armor Load Carriage System. It is a military armor cut originally developed for U.S. Special Operations and is widely used across law enforcement and government contracts.

BALCS soft armor is designed to provide extended coverage compared to standard plate carrier inserts. It wraps further around the torso and covers more of the side body, which increases protection without requiring a fully rigid system.

Unlike standard plate carriers that rely only on hard plates, a BALCS system is built around soft armor as the foundation, with the option to add plates over it.

It fits my 1" thick 10x12 plates and Onyx panels really well. I like the 3D mesh, I'm sure it'll be very handy in the summer. Much better than my Condor.

Well made, really like the layout, and the drag handle is really cool (velcroed in place so its not loose). Told them i was going to cut the flap off and they happily offered to cut the flap off. Great experience.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Cheap? No, it's not. But it fits my xx balcs panels and xl plates perfectly. It has everything you need and is tough as hell. Looks great too but frankly thats secondary.

*ranger green* Love it. Fit and finish are perfect. Mounted an HSGI triple taco on the panel for my AR and pistol mags. I wear a large size which matches balcs armor (same size as duty soft armor). If I did it again I would have gotten an extra large as the soft armor panels no longer touch with rifle plates installed, so keep that in mind when ordering. I would also like to see the center mic clip removed and add another 2” or molle to hold a flag or state patch. With my large police panels, I have no location on the front or back for an American flag like I do on my stand alone plate carrier. Outside of that, it doesn’t what I need, has plenty of storage, and is super quick to Don and Doff. A++++
