The Kilo 5 Chest Rig Placard is a compact rifle load carriage platform built around a five cell front layout with integrated side wing storage and rear .308 capable pockets. It is designed for users who want more capability than a micro rig without moving into a large full size chest rig.

The front kangaroo pocket accepts elastic magazine inserts (triple 5.56) and allows the sides to have height adjustment for longer 5.56 mags to shorter .308 mags.   An SRV Zip Insert Pouch an be added in front of the triple(5.56) magazine insert for smaller items while still allowing three magazines to ride behind it. This gives the user a clean rifle mag setup with built in organization where it is easiest to access.

Each side wing adds usable storage without needing separate wing add ons. The side pockets can carry radios, magazines, medical components, tools or similar compact equipment. MOLLE laser compatible fields on the front and side pockets allow small pouches, tourniquet holders or other accessories to be mounted where needed.

The rear of the Kilo 5 Chest Rig adds another layer of capacity. The two rear pockets are sized to fit up to .308 magazines and can also be used for radios or similarly sized equipment. By adding Padded Zipper Rear Pack or Zipper Placard Rear Pack to the rear hook field for flat storage and added comfort.

The Kilo 5 Chest Rig is built as a chest rig first but can scale beyond standalone use. Run it slick with an elastic cummerbund over the rig body or integrate it with a MOLLE Tubes cummerbund for a carrier mounted placard setup with built in side wings.

The bottom of the rig accepts a Drop Pouch or dangler for medical, admin or general purpose storage. Loop fields on the center front and side wings allow name tapes, identifiers or patches to be added without taking away from the working area of the rig.

Built as a chest rig first with true placard capability the Kilo 5 Chest Rig bridges the gap between a micro chest rig, rifle placard and TAP style load carriage platform.
