Excellent helmet. You won’t be dissatisfied. The shell is very, very light. The helmet pads and harness are incredibly comfortable. The rails are tight, my headset isn’t going anywhere. The dip is not IR reflective. It is a little glossy, but no more reflective under IR than any other satin-gloss surface. The third photo is from maybe 2 feet away with IR light directly on the helmet. From like 5-10 feet away you couldn’t tell. Purchasing through Midwest Armor was a pleasant experience. The helmet did take longer than advertised to arrive (due to circumstances outside of their control). However the team at Midwest went above and beyond keeping me updated of their own volition and answering all my questions. One of their customer service agents would respond to my questions at 1 AM!! Give that man a raise! This outfit takes customer service to another level. Buy with confidence. One thing to note: I purchased mine in multicam, and it’s more tropicish (green) than regular multicam in my opinion (maybe I’m just a diva lol). For the price, honestly it can’t be beat.
