It has integrated traction technology that prevents the tourniquet from slipping down the animal’s leg, which would result in a loss of compression. The slippage is amplified when the animal is moved and extricated. Slippage is a common occurrence when tourniquets or pressure dressings designed for humans are used on such tapered anatomy.
