The Hilo Low Profile Plate Carrier is a slick, lightweight plate carrier built for quick deployment and low-visibility wear at an affordable price. It comes with everything you need except plates, including front and back plate bags and an Elastic Cummerbund.

Minimal does not mean impractical. The front plate bag has a built-in zippered admin pocket that keeps small items secure while maintaining a seamless, slick profile, plus a loop field for patches or name tags. It includes two removable QASM / swift-clip style female buckles for mounting a front placard such as the Laser Triple Mag Front Placard, pull them off to run the carrier completely slick for total concealment.

The front and back loop fields let you run an Elastic Cummerbund or step up to a Skeletal Cummerbund with Tubes (sold separately). The back panel is slick with a Velcro loop field, and both panels use airflow padding for bodyside cooling.

The shoulders use a unique notched adjustability system to help you remember your sizing, sliding in and securing via hook and loop. A setup tool is included so the strap doesn’t grab during sizing. Inside the plate pocket, an adjustment strap sets how high or low the plate rides.

The included Elastic Cummerbund has three cells that hold 5.56 or 7.62 mags plus tools like radios and tourniquets.

We offer three cummerbund sizes to fit your style and comfort for how tight you would like the carrier to be on your body, each cummerbund allows for adjustments above its size so you can tighten up the carrier with a +/- 4″ elastic stretch.

Medium – 34″ to 38″ (15″ Length)

Large – 40″ to 44″ (17″ Length)

X-Large – 46″ to 50″ (19″ Length)

I have worked in many different carriers and armor in my time in the military and on Duty, and I can honestly say this carrier is one very top 3 in my career. I recommend it to any one who will listen lol I even let my buddy use it on an operation and he was just as impressed. The construction, the comfort,the modular design, an ability to scale it to officer needs and sizes are top notch. Another really good offering from a home based company, Midwest Armor! I was fortunate enough to stumble across Midwest Armor via Reddit. I did some research and decided to place an order. My order is delayed. Why I wonder? BAM! Snowstorm shuts down Tennessee. Reach out to customer service for an update. Hands down best customer service I have had in a long time. Fast, honest, and got me my updates instantly. Now about the carrier. Holy light weight. Fits my Hesco plates perfectly. Shoulder pads are padded and fit great. Cumberbum wraps tightly around my torso, and stays put. My girlfriend is a seemstress and I had her inspect the sticting entirley. Its all flawless. I love my PC and addtions from Midwest Armor, They do oustanding work. I will be a purchasing more in the future!
