The EOTech EXPS2 (EXPS2-0) is a holographic weapon sight that delivers the same EOTech speed and sight picture as the EXPS3 without the night vision compatibility. For shooters who don't need NV settings this is the best value in the EOTech EXPS lineup. Made in the USA.
The EXPS2 uses the same holographic technology and 68 MOA ring with 1 MOA dot reticle as the EXPS3. The holographic reticle does not bloom or expand under magnification making it pair well with a magnifier for extending range. The 68 MOA ring provides three usable aiming points calibrated for .223/5.56 62gr at 2,900 fps: center dot at 50 and 200 yards and the bottom of the ring at 7 yards.
Like the EXPS3 it features side-mounted buttons, a 7mm raised quick-detach base for lower 1/3 co-witness with iron sights and a locking QD lever for easy on/off without losing zero. The compact housing runs on a single CR123A battery with approximately 1,000 hours of continuous use.
The main differences from the EXPS3: no night vision compatibility (20 daylight settings only) and 10ft water resistance instead of 33ft. Everything else is the same.
