Chaos BALCS Full Tactical MOLLE Vest
The Chaos MOLLE FT Vest is built around the BALCS soft armor platform and uses a traditional PALS webbing layout for full compatibility with MOLLE mounted gear.
This carrier is built for users who need increased coverage from BALCS soft armor while maintaining a modular loadout. Cummerbund pockets are sized to the carrier and this cummerbund is designed for soft armor(sold separately) with the option to add pockets for hard armor side plates(6x6)
A built-in kangaroo pocket provides storage for three 5.56 magazines and if needed a zipper pocket also can be added for extra storage. The internal sides include additional storage with one magazine/radio pocket on each side that can accept up to .308 as well as a small utility pocket for compact items.
The carrier maintains a full MOLLE/PALS platform across the front and rear allowing direct attachment of pouches/equipment without requiring additional adapters. External routing channels allow for clean management of comm wires and cables. Dedicated mounting points support body cams and body mics on both sides.
The internal plate pocket uses a bottom loading design for secure retention. A reinforced drag handle is built into the rear of the carrier for recovery situations.
This vest is compatible with Midwest Armor BALCS soft armor as well as any MIL-SPEC BALCS shape NIJ compliant armor.
